PLAYtime! 2026 - BURP

Get ready for a high-energy, sound-filled adventure that will have your little ones giggling and gasping in equal measure! 

Presented by Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, the 2026 season of PLAYtime! kicks off with the return of the fan-favourite, BURP. Now reimagined with a fresh new cast and even more magic.

This 45-minute theatrical romp follows a man on an unexpected chase to catch the most mischievous burp of all time. Armed with his Incredible Sound Machine and jars full of collected sounds, he turns everyday sounds into gateways to forgotten moments and feelings.

Perfect for children aged 3-6, BURP transforms the simple act of listening into a high-energy game that teaches emotional awareness through play. 

Your child will learn to recognize feelings (theirs and others') while joining the chase for that slippery, rumbling burp.

This relaxed performance welcomes all young audience members, including those on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities.

Floral beauty meets friendship as My Little Pony arrives at Gardens by the Bay’s Floral Fantasy!

In celebration of the Year of the Horse, the characters are reimagined with Chinese-inspired designs, traditional florals, and cultural motifs. See Rainbow Dash among bold blooms, while Fluttershy shines in soft pastel gardens.

The royal trio - Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Princess Cadance, also takes centre stage, set against a stunning castle backdrop with stained-glass effects.
