PLAYtime! 2026 - Together

Image credit: Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay

No iPad. A busy mum. And only each other for company. For Gor Gor and Mei Mei, it sounds like the worst afternoon ever, until imagination takes over.

Part of Esplanade's PLAYtime!, an interactive theatre series for children aged 3 to 6, Together follows two siblings as they turn their HDB flat into a world of spontaneous adventure.

Ordinary corners of the home transform into portals to new places, proving that a little imagination can change everything.

This 45 minute interactive play captures the messy, relatable reality of growing up together. Your little ones will see how Gor Gor and Mei Mei navigate conflict, practice active listening, and eventually find common ground.

It’s a heart warming look at how play helps children understand one another and build empathy.

Date: 2-17 May 2026

Where: Esplanade Theatre Studio

Tickets: $23, ticket specials available for Esplanade&Me PIP’s Club members

*This event is eligible for SG Culture Pass credits

Hawksbill Turtle Hatchlings at Singapore Oceanarium

Instagram Post

8 Hawksbill Turtle Hatchlings have just moved into their new home at the Singapore Oceanarium.

Life in the wild for them is basically extreme survivor. Without a little boost, only one in a thousand to ten thousand of these turtles actually makes it to adulthood.

That’s why the team at NParks hatched them over at Sisters’ Island and handed the “parenting” duties to the Oceanarium experts. Special diet, vet visits, even tinted tank windows for their comfort.

The goal is to get them strong and ready for the wild before sending them back into the ocean where they belong.

This is real deal conservation in action, so head down to the Singapore Oceanarium to say hi and wish them luck before they graduate and head home!

Mrs Wong is also an exceptional teacher who has earned high praise from students and parents for her effective teaching methods and dedication.

With her illustrious academic background and over two decades of experience teaching mathematics in top MOE schools and tutoring students, Mrs Wong is the perfect mentor for your child!
